WHAT IF GOD WAS ONE OF US?

After a comprehensive investigation by me of various publications, documents, and other resources, the consensus appears that god is currently separately backing at least three different contenders for the Republican presidential nomination. 


Over the course of the past few months and even years, god has sent signs and direct messages to each of these candidates encouraging them to run, presumably without telling them that he supports other candidates as well.

Before I reveal the results of my investigation, the truth is god has his hands full right now with other priorities as well. The world is disintegrating in front of us on a daily basis and god is only one super being.

 As an example of the huge problems god is trying hard to fix, listen, watch one of my favorite songs about god  'WHAT IF GOD WAS ONE OF US", BY JOAN OSBORNE.

Now onto the findings of god and the 2012 presidential candidates in the USA-GOD BLESS AMERICA
 
Herman Cain: When Cain's granddaughter was born in 1999, Cain says his first thought upon holding her was, "What do I do to make this a better world?" Cain told Christian radio host Bryan Fischer in January, "I know that that had to be God almighty sending that thought through my mind." That's the background for what happened twelve years later. 

While campaigning for president around December of 2010, Cain was feeling tired and discouraged when he received a direct sign from God that he must continue.

Cain has also heard from God more directly, as he told a tea party rally in April:

Cain told the crowd about his battle with cancer in 2006, saying he's been "totally cancer free" for the past five years.

"You want to know why? God said, 'Not yet Herman,'" Cain told the crowd. "God said, 'Not yet. I've got something else for you to do.' And it might be to become the president of the United States of America."

Rick Santorum: At the same time God was encouraging Herman Cain to run for president, he was also telling Rick Santorum to throw his hat in the race. 


As Karen Santorum told CBN's David Brody in May about her husband's decision to run for president, "It really boils down to God's will. What is it that God wants? ... We have prayed a lot about this decision, and we believe with all our hearts that this is what God wants."

I suppose when Santorum was voted out of office in Pennsylvania as Senator in 2006 by 18 percentage points because his Constituents hated him, he takes the next logical step, and runs for President.


Michele Bachmann: Michele Bachmann fresh from winning the Iowa GOP Caucus, has said that God has been quietly encouraging her to run for president as well. 

As Bachmann told World Net Daily in 2009, she would never run without God's personal endorsement:
  
"If I felt that's what the Lord was calling me to do, I would do it," she answered. "When I have sensed that the Lord is calling me to do something, I've said yes to it. But I will not seek a higher office if God is not calling me to do it. That's really my standard."If I am called to serve in that realm I would serve," she concluded, "but if I am not called, I wouldn't do it.

Bachmann recently confirmed that she has, indeed, "had that calling and that tugging on my heart". 

As we know, Bachmann does have a serious problem speaking any coherent words, in sentences that make sense, so while the above statements from her seem to be mostly totally confusing, you can get the gist of what she is saying, god told her to run for President, but if god told her to run for dog catcher, she would do that instead.

god hasn't been universally generous with his support such as letting Mike Huckabee know that he shouldn't run for president, lest he take his focus off the much more important task producing a series of profit making conservative American history DVDs, called "The War On Terror", shamelessly hawking the horrors of the 9/11 World Trade Center Tragedy (only $9.95, plus $3.95 shipping and handling, along with 4 Free Gifts valued at $50.Then, about once a month, he will automatically gladly ship you the next DVD in the series, for a higher price, of course ).

Although god arranged for Sarah Palin to be chosen as John McCain's running mate in 2008, there's nothing to indicate that he backs her potential candidacy in 2012. Nevertheless, she may receive a message from god any day now, to also run for president.

Really, this is getting somewhat confusing. What could god be up to in backing all of these different politicians? Also, why no Democrat or Independent candidates are hearing  the word from god to run for President?  I mean, it should be a fair, equal distribution of candidates from all walks of political life selected by god, and endorsed as worthy to be President.

Perhaps, god has been using his/her own political action committees to hide contributions and support for various other candidates, of all political affiliations, as part of the new election lobbyists laws, sort of hedging bets, making a fair contest between favorites, who just have not revealed his support of them.

Although lets be real, whomever god really wants to be President, will be in the end determined by god. So I wanted to get god's views on this confusion.

Alas, at the time I posted this, god was not available to me for comment, however a spokesperson says, god was too busy assisting a baseball player hit a game-winning home run, giving an elderly poor lady the winning lottery numbers, working on the food crisis in Africa, ending Wars, trying to stop world wide child abuse, killing of innocent good people all over the globe, helping someone survive a heart attack, seeking  a cure for Cancer, Leukemia, many other horrible diseases, and mostly battling the forces of evil that are destroying our world. In other words, god has a full plate to deal with right now, and the elections aren't until next year.

I am also waiting for the inevitable speech where god will run the country through Rick Perry's hands as he prays:
"Blessed be the rich, for they are righteous in the eyes of God, blessed be the poor, for they are humble in the eyes of the lord, damned be those who are in between the righteous and the humble, for they have not prospered like the righteous, nor sacrificed like the humble."

So, my take on all of this is if these people are really "hearing voices"...then I think they all need to get their heads examined..in fact, I'd insist on it. It's like the old saying - "if you talk to god, you're religious. And if god talks back, you're schizophrenic". 

ONLY THREE DAYS IN AMERICA

Today is August 15th, 2011, the beginning of a new week. 


I was thinking of several important topics to write for today's blog when I noticed news of the past few days, once again about unbelievable but true "alleged" horrific murders, injuries of little children, innocent lives destroyed by the hands of adults, often their  very own parents.


What shocked me (yes I still get shocked) about these horrible deaths, injuries of these children is that there are so many in ONLY THE PAST THREE DAYS, that not only was I not aware of any of them, but the media does not report about  most of these killings, beatings of children any longer.



As I have said in previous blog posts, the global society has deteriorated, literally fallen apart, to the point of such severe dysfunction, that it has become immune to the killing, beating, abuse of innocent little children, and treats it as a "normal", everyday occurrence, as if it were an acceptable, unimportant, and not media "worthy" of bringing it to the public attention.



The public appears to be complicit with this denial of how immoral, and sick the world is, and simply does not want to know about anything that will upset the tidy make believe "bubbles" that they live in. In many cases people are too busy trying to survive against repressive, cruel governments that are busy crushing them.


That is the reason that I post these types of topics, as painful and ugly they are to read. If people don't know, ignore, or consciously choose to not be aware of these horrible events, then nothing will ever change.


This is just from America, I haven't even attempted to cover other countries and the rest of the globe. This is NOT an abuse isolated to America. This is a shameful, reprehensible abusing way of life that degrades, kills human beings, and children all over the world.



The world is one huge mess, not just America, and no one reading this anywhere in the world should feel smug about their own homeland, as not one country has shown it is doing anything meaningful to truly address the needs of their most vulnerable people .




Make NO mistake about it, this is a world wide epidemic of disrespect for human life, in particular that of children whether through abuse, indentured slavery, selling of human beings, child slave labor, cultural/religious punishments, ignoring the individual human rights of people, or simply starving children to death.




The end result in all cases of child abuse, no matter how different the method, results in treating the value of a human life as cheap and disposable, like a paper cup.

10.9 million children under 5 years of age die in developing countries every year from malnutrition or hunger related diseases, which cause 60% of these deaths.

The above statistic translates into real human lives of ONE innocent child dies every SIX seconds in the developing world, the time it took you to read this one short sentence

So rather than my picking a story for you to read in today's Blog Post, I give you a smorgasbord, a plethora of truly horrific events happening to children in ONLY THE PAST THREE DAYS IN AMERICA. 

Each one, so disgusting in detail, that I can't even decide the "most important" of them to write about in memory of a specific child. They ALL make ill to read. 


Me, I read them all, it's my way of at least acknowledging that these children are human beings, that they lived, I care about what has happened.  

America, as the "most civilized" society, yes it has come to this, in cruelty, indifference and selfishness, we wave the flag.

Forget for a second the systemic complex causes of child abuse, focus on the incidents that can be prevented by other family members, neighbors, friends, who are  aware of the long term abuse of these children, but say, do nothing.

No one close to these children seems to get involved BEFORE these acts take place.

Go ahead and pick the murder of the day of a child, the beating of the moment, that you want to read about, perhaps instead, delete this post to my Blog, or simply delete my entire Blog from your computer bookmarks, and read about something more important elsewhere.

Don't upset yourself with my blog post, instead watch the news of Google buying the Motorola cell phone division, Tiger Woods in the PGA, the latest reality TV show, politicians, Paris Hilton, sports, so many other enjoyable choices to divert your attention.

WHO WILL PROTECT, SAVE THE CHILDREN THAT WILL BE KILLED AND INJURED IN THE NEXT THREE DAYS AND BEYOND?

IT'S ALL TOO UGLY TO THINK ABOUT FOR MOST PEOPLE. 

WISHING IT AWAY WON'T STOP IT.

WHAT WILL?

YOUR MEDICAL CARE, I SAID, DOCTOR, MR. M.D., CAN YOU TELL ME, WHATS AILING ME?

You know those old sayings that 'hospitals are the most dangerous places in the world"? Or "stay away from too many Doctor visits or they will find something wrong with you"?


I have always believed that to be the truth and my advice to any patient and their loved ones, is to be extremely proactive, aggressive about every piece of your medical care, whether it is in a Doctors office, Mental Health Practitioner, or at a Hospital.


I share these facts with you not to scare you but to educate and make as many people aware that YOU are the person ultimately in charge of YOUR medical care WITH your medical provider.


Don't be passive and assume that the very best will be done for you or that " Good Lovin" as the Rascals sang in their their great song will be enough to heal you.


                    GOOD LOVIN

Whether it is a "simple" examination, procedure, or highly complex, always ask questions. Take a written list that you have prepared before, of what you want to ask, into your appointment, then ask each question, if you are unable to do so, have someone else ask the questions, write down the answers, about every aspect of your medical care, from the tiniest unusual looking pill being given to you, to the actual touching of your body for examination, and suggested procedures.


Always get a second opinion from a medical provider not involved with the same medical practice, preferably not even from the same hospital affiliation, if it involves a medical surgical procedure, or anything that makes you feel uncomfortable about going ahead with what you have been advised.


This is your body and before anyone messes with it, you need to be as certain as you can be, that the advice being given to you is in your best interest.


If the medical provider does not want to answer your questions or has no time to answer, fire him or her, and find yourself one that does. You wouldn't allow dismissive behavior from your auto mechanic, or when buying a computer, why would you allow it for something more important, your own health or that of a loved one.


Some of my best friends are the Doctors who are in charge of my own medical care. They are special human beings who I have worked long and hard to find. None of them are afraid of my asking as many questions as I want, and all are very much aware that they do not have the "god like" answers that a large amount of their colleagues claim to possess. I trust them with my life and they view me as Jerry, a human being, that is the way each person/medical provider ideally should feel in the "business" of medical care.


My "Jerry" theory about medical providers from all the fields involving human care, is that they are no different than the dysfunctional people we are subjected to in every messed up system that we interact with in modern society.


My theory regarding these medical human care providers is that 10 % are incompetent and will eventually kill you regardless of whether you're proactive or not about your medical care. 80% of Doctors are mediocre and are capable of eventually killing you whether you're proactive or not about your medical care. The other 10% are the highest rated Doctors, they are very competent, but unless you are proactive about your medical care, they may accidentally kill you.


By the way, medical providers when it comes to medical errors are equal opportunity care givers, they will kill or injure their own colleagues as often as a regular patient.


Hospitals often have a way to make their errors and mistakes disappear or suddenly read in the medical files very differently than what has in fact truly happened. I have always believed that and every year we read reports of the many thousands of known deaths, injuries, caused by hospital/medical errors but I suspect that is the very tip of the iceberg, as there are likely many hundreds of thousands medical errors that remain unreported which injure and kill patients, also known as human beings to the rest of us.

As an example California State health officials are expressing skepticism about the reports filed by dozens of California hospitals they have not had a single significant medial error involving a patient in the past three years. 

Since the law took effect, 87 of the state’s 418 hospitals have reported no significant errors, the  L.A. Times reported Sunday. Jamie Court, president of the Santa Monica-based group Consumer Advocate says such a large number of error-free hospitals, more than 20 percent, is "almost inconceivable".


It is an accepted estimated figure by the medical profession that close to 100,000 people die each year in the USA from medical errors made in hospitals. It is likely that this figure is much too low and that at least 200,000 deaths or more are caused by Hospital Errors in the USA.


The Texas Medical Institute of Technology also estimates that at least, 200,000 human beings die each year from preventable medical errors and countless more are injured.


 
Don Berwick, administrator for the Centers for Medicare And Medicaid Services Dangers of hospital negligence, said "As many as one in seven, maybe even one in three of every hospital admission or patients are injured by the care that's supposed to help them".




This week we are informed by A RECENT STUDY that there is actually a great deal of truth, and much, much more to the manner in which Hospitals  Doctors, harm, injure, kill their patients.


Medical errors and the problems they can cause — including bed sores, post-op infections and implant or device complications — cost the U.S. economy $19.5 billion in 2008, according to a study released today.


The study, commissioned by the Society of Actuaries and carried out by the actuarial and consulting firm Milliman, is based on insurance claims data. The cost estimate includes medical costs, costs associated with increased mortality rate and lost productivity, and covers what the authors describe as a conservative estimate of 1.5 million measurable errors. The report estimates the errors caused more than 2,500 avoidable deaths and over 10 million lost days of work.


A couple of things make this study stand apart from previous studies (including this one, or this one), Jim Toole, the chairman of the SOA’s project oversight group, who proposed the study a few years ago. First, the sample size is bigger, starting with a data set of 24 million people. It also used control groups to calculate the cost-of-care differential between a patient who sustained an error-caused injury and a similar patient who wasn’t injured.


And finally, says Toole, these were neutral data, collected for another reason, which means they’re less subject to bias than data aggregated for the sole purpose of counting errors.


Toole also says "We have wonderful information in this country about automobile safety and how in the last 20 years we’ve reduced highway deaths by 35% … but we have no starting point for medical errors or injuries"


According to the World Health Organization," Millions of people die each year from medical errors and infections linked to health care and going into hospitals. If You Were Admitted Into A Hospital In Any Country Tomorrow Your Chances Are 1 In 10 to Be Subject to an error in your care. Your chances of dying due to an error in health care would be 1 in 300".


You have only one life. There are no do overs for you if someone who is supposed to help, screws up instead. 

Ask my dead son Steven Nathaniel Wolkoff and many more hundreds of thousands of other dead human beings who had no one there to protect them and trusted that they were being medically aided properly by competent professionals, but were killed instead by the incompetence on the part of those very same licensed medical providers who were there supposedly to help save their lives . 

The dead can't answer, because dead means forever.

MOM DIDN'T WANT HER SON TO SUFFER, SHE DIDN"T WANT HIM BULLIED, SHE DIDN'T WANT HIM HURT.

I keep looking for happy stories yet it is impossible to ignore the horrors that are happening daily in front of our eyes. 

There is really no other way to put it: So much suffering in the world; this case is particularly heartbreak­ing.

You remember the issue of bullying that became the media and public feeding frenzy concern earlier in the year with endless daily reports of the abuse of youngsters by classmates, and even bullying of college students. 

As with so many things in the short memory span of our public to stay focused on important life issues, it faded from the public mind, and the jaded, hype seeking media, as fast as it had appeared, seemingly someone waved a magic wand and the problems of bullying, scapegoating had suddenly been wiped off the face of the earth.

Guess what? Surprise, the issue of bullying just lost the interest of the public, never got resolved, remaining as painful and cruel to those who continue to struggle every day with these experiences. 

In the meantime the public and media went onto bigger and more "exciting" horrific stories that reflect the disintegration of our modern civilization, as detailed in several of my previous Blog posts.

This particular mother in my Blog post today, found these struggles too much to bear. Obviously she was suffering from deep emotional problems, but I can't help but feel this is in some way also related to current economic troubles in our Country. 

Education for people with special needs has always been challengin­g and I'm sure it is even more so today with funding being cut for so many programs. Lately, there have been so many stories of desperate people taking desperate measures. It is very sad that it has come to this.

According the Americans with Disabilities Act, School Districts ARE required to pay for the private education of students with disabiliti­es, if the School District cannot adequately address a child's educationa­l needs. Of course school districts fight tooth and nail to avoid doing this, whether they can adequately educate a child, or not.

They do this because it is expensive to pay for a student to attend special schools that are designed specifically to give children with special needs the education, attention that they medically require.

School Districts, in effect, lose their funding for that child, if they send them to these special schools. You would be very surprised to learn what school districts are required by law to do and how they avoid what is in the best interest of these children, simply to preserve the funding that they get for that student and not paying the extra funds for the specialized education that these children are mandated by Law to receive.

The depth of emotions that parents have for their children is something that all loving mothers and fathers understand. We always want the very best for our children. When it comes to disabled special needs children, the emotions of their parents is unexplainable to parents of "normal " children.

In many of the cases of learning disabled children, the word autistic and other labels are used to cover the wide spectrum of these disorders, as they are too diverse to categorize them with any one word, other than "special". 

When Parents learns their child is being bullied, whether they have special needs children or not, we become a bear in the woods, protecting our  precious child.

This is a tragic story of a mother who snapped under the pressure and struggle of what was happening to her child. As a highly trained Psychiatrist, and a loving mother, what she did is unforgivable, unbelievable, and yet it happened.

WASHINGTON -- Ben Barnhard had reason to be optimistic this summer: The 13-year-old shed more than 100 pounds at a rigorous weight-loss academy, a proud achievement for a boy who had endured classmates' taunts about his obesity and who had sought solace in the quiet of his bedroom, with his pet black cat and the intricate origami designs he created.

But one month before school was to start for the special-needs teen, his mother, psychiatrist Margaret Jensvold, shot him in the head, then killed herself. Officers found their bodies Tuesday in the bedrooms of their home in Kensington, Md., an upper-middle class Washington suburb.

Jensvold also offered an explanation for taking her son's life. Police also found a note. "School – can't deal with school system," the letter began, Jensvold's sister, Susan Slaughter, told The Associated Press. And later: "Debt is bleeding me. Strangled by debt."

Although family members said they were stunned by the killings, they also said Jensvold had become increasingly strained by financial pressure and by anguished fights with the county public school system over the special-needs education of her son, who had an autism spectrum disorder.

They said the school district – apparently believing it could adequately educate Ben – had refused to cover tuition costs for the boy to attend a private school for special-needs students. Jensvold didn't have the money herself and didn't want to return her son to public school, where relatives said she felt harshly judged and marginalized and where Ben had struggled.

"It was a huge stress," Slaughter said. "It's very hard being a single parent under any circumstances, but to have a high-needs child is overwhelming. And then to have him inappropriately placed in the school, and have the school fighting with her, was really traumatic."

Special needs education is an emotionally freighted issue, perhaps especially so in Montgomery County – an affluent region where parents tend to be actively engaged in education and where schools are consistently rated among the country's best. 

School district spokeswoman Lesli Maxwell said that privacy laws prevented her from discussing the particulars of Barnhard's case, but that the district offered vast options for its 17,000 special-education students and will refer students for private schooling when it can't meet their needs.

Jensvold, a Johns Hopkins-educated psychiatrist specializing in women's health, was passionate and determined. She made news in 1990 by filing a gender discrimination lawsuit against the National Institute of Mental Health, where she was a medical staff fellow. A judge ultimately ruled against her, calling her version of events an "illusion." She later had her own private practice but most recently was working at Kaiser Permanente.

She also was a protective mother, constantly fighting with Montgomery County schools over how best to accommodate her son. He was her world, said her divorce lawyer, Robert Baum."She came with an album of pictures of her in a very warm and endearing type of situation," he said. "Her arms around him playing outside, amusement parks, all the types of things you'd love to see of parents dealing with their kids."

Ben was an active infant – his family nicknamed him "ATB," or All-Terrain Baby – but became increasingly withdrawn and isolated, and relatives said as a child he developed an autoimmune disease that's sometimes triggered by strep.

A divorce court filing lists 18 specialists involved in Ben's care, and Jensvold's own suicide note hints at some of the child's difficulties: "writing problems, migraines, hearing things" – and "a bit paranoid."

He had a small group of friends and enjoyed computers, origami, animals and picking tomatoes with his grandmother, his father said. But school was difficult for him, and his weight – topping 275 before his weight loss-program – made him a target for teasing. 

He found comfort with even more food. "He used to say, Mom and Dad, I don't want to go to school. I don't want to deal with those people. They're mean to me and they hurt me,'' recalled Jamie Barnhard, Ben's father and Jensvold's ex-husband. "It broke both of our hearts."

The couple placed their son in the county's special education program, but Barnhard said his son struggled in the system. He spent about nine months at Wellspring Academies, a weight-loss boarding school in North Carolina, returning in May more than 100 pounds slimmer and more confident.

"He wanted to ride his bike. He wanted to be a kid again," Barnhard said. "He wanted to go out and have fun. He wanted to fly airplanes with his dad. He wanted to just do anything."

But there were still concerns about where to send Ben to school. Jensvold appeared consumed by his education at her father's memorial service last spring, Slaughter said. She confided that she was having trouble paying the roughly $50,000 tuition for Ben to attend Wellspring. She presented a binder about five-inches thick detailing his academic needs, along with a chart showing how his IQ had fallen over the years.

At the end of June, Slaughter wrote her sister to say their mother would pay for Ben's education for the coming year. Jensvold had planned to enroll her son in the Ivymount School, a Rockville, Md., private school specializing in autism and other learning disabilities. Tuition there ranges based on a child's needs, but can be more than $60,000, the school said Monday. Her mother said she'd send a check.

In her final months, Jensvold only sporadically communicated with her family, as she had for years, Slaughter said. Emails frequently went unreturned, mail sometimes unopened.

Ben spent July 4 with his divorced parents aboard his dad's restored boat, treading past the Washington Monument with a picnic dinner of barbecue and pineapple. It was a final moment of serenity.

He died a month later. One day after his body was found – co-workers hadn't heard from Jensvold for days and newspapers had accumulated outside the house – a $10,000 check from Jensvold's mother arrived, Slaughter said.

SO SAD!!!

WHAT ABOUT THEIR RIGHTS?

While I have been writing lately about the "important" events happening in the world such as the U.S. debt crisis, there have been other stories piling up that also need to be told.

Initially, I starting writing this blog as a way to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, in particular innocent dead victims and their families who are also victims, left with endless, indescribable loss, pain, suffering. More so crystallized for me by the negligence of many entities and others who caused the death of my 30 year old son, Steven Nathaniel Wolkoff. 

Some readers and non readers of this Blog criticize my focus on this, as morbid, others lend support, and mostly everyone has not the slightest clue of the finality, forever inconsolable grief, never to heal, that we feel, as victims families. 

The vast majority of people don't even want to think of these horrors, let alone read about them. So I will remind you that these are human beings and they deserve your attention to their death, they lived, they died in horrible ways, show them your respect.

It is impossible with the current magnitude of such a large rate of innocents being slaughtered and justice being ignored for any one to report on many of these stories in a timely manner. But it does haunt me and should bother you in the same way.

I have selected two stories for today's post to be representative of the many other victims during the past 2 weeks that I can't write about, because there are just too many for me to cover them all. 

             AME DEAL-REST IN PEACE

                                          

AME DEAL, A 10 YEAR OLD CHILD, MURDERED BY HER FAMILY FOR TAKING A POPSICLE

The family of a 10-year-old found dead in a trunk outside an Arizona home initially claimed the child died while playing hide-and-seek. But investigators now believe Ame Deal suffocated after her family locked her in the box because she took a Popsicle from the freezer without permission.

Phoenix police claim Deal's grandmother, aunt and two cousins regularly subjected the child to horrific treatment, ultimately culminating in her July 12 death.

"This child died at the hands of those who were supposed to love and care for her. ... This case has turned the stomachs of some of our most seasoned detectives," said Phoenix Police spokesman Sergeant Trent Crump in a statement posted on the city's website.

Deal's passing was classified as a "death unknown" until July 28, according to the police press release. But after Deal's cousin Samantha Allen, 23, and her husband, John Allen, 23, admitted putting the child in the trunk and padlocking it, authorities charged the couple with first degree murder.

John Allen was allegedly angry with Deal because she had taken a popsicle from the freezer, AZFamily reports.

The victim's aunt, Cynthia Stoltzmann, 44, and grandmother, Judith Deal, 62, were charged with child abuse and kidnapping after reportedly admitting to locking the child in the box on previous occasions.

Witnesses told investigators the child was regularly punished by being locked in the trunk. They also saw the caregivers force Deal to eat dog feces as punishment, crush cans barefoot and exercise outdoors in "extreme measures," according to ABC15.

Deal's aunt allegedly confessed to putting hot sauce in the child's mouth, striking her with a paddle dubbed "Butt Buster" and ordering the child to sleep on the floor of a stall shower because she had a problem with wetting the bed, the news station reports.

Deal, who weighed just 59 pounds and was discovered in soiled clothing, died in a box that measured less than 3 feet long, 14 inches wide and one foot tall, according to The New York Daily News.

Twelve children who lived at the residence have been taken into custody by Child Protective Services, ABC15 reports.The whereabouts of the child's mother are unknown and authorities are currently trying to locate Deal's biological father

This is as I have said a horrific story about the murder of Ame Deal by her family, a child who deserved much better in her short life than she got. Nobody cared about her, the neighbors never bothered even calling the Police all the time that they knew this poor child was being tortured.

How many of you reading the blog even knew about this horrible murder, and why not, because it is now "normal" to have victims, especially little children murdered on a daily basis, and no one even pays attention to this any longer. 

The media doesn't really care, they hype these acts of murder endlessly, as a way to be able to charge more for ads, and ignore many others deemed by them "unworthy" deaths of victims, who never even make it to the news. 

Yes, the world has become such a sicko, wacko place, that the unimaginable has become common, and no one pays attention to why and how this could be. We have reached the lowest point of a society, where the killing of little children, other victims of all ages, is condoned by denial, silence, and apathy. These headlines seem almost like bad jokes, except they are very real and defy the imagination in that these are true, horrific, barbaric, horrors.

Which leads me directly to the next OUTRAGE of this week in the good ole dysfunctional justice system that dispenses little justice, and limps along under its own corrupt, self serving circus of the absurd concerned mainly about the rights, fairness to the defendant, but ignores the rights of victims. 

The law in this case says we're not going to give the government multiple times to prosecute you. We are going to value finality more than we value the truth.

It’s obvious something needs to be changed. There are far too many guilty people wandering around not paying for their crimes, and there are far too many innocents lying in graves, rotting away.

MAN ACQUITTED OF FRIENDS MURDER CONFESSES TO POLICE, WALKS FREE

In 2004, Isaac Turnbaugh of Vermont was acquitted of killing his coworker. Police say he recently contacted them, however, and confessed to the murder. But there's not much they can do.

Some might call it an outrage, but he's protected under a basic Fifth Amendment concept better known as "double jeopardy," and prosecutors say their hands are tied.

"He could have turned over a video tape of him committing the murder and it wouldn't change the fact that double jeopardy is attached," Vermont Attorney General William Sorrell told The Huffington Post. "We had our chance. The jury acquitted him and, just in the same way OJ could confess today to his wife's murder, it wouldn’t affect what could be done to him."

Turnbaugh, now 28, stood trial in 2004 on a charge of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Declan Lyons, 24. The two men were coworkers at the restaurant American Flatbread in Waitsfield, a town located about 20 miles southwest of Montpelier, Vt.

Lyons, engaged and expecting his first child, was found dead outside the restaurant on April 12, 2002. He had been mixing sauce in an outdoor cauldron when witnesses inside the restaurant heard a loud popping noise. WPTZ reported that, when the waitresses went outside to investigate, they found an unresponsive Lyons on the ground with a gaping head wound.

Police had no suspects in the case until the following month, when Turnbaugh went to a party and allegedly told six friends that he had shot Lyons. One of the friends told Turnbaugh's mother and she reportedly contacted the police.

"The whole reason he was charged was because he was sitting around the campfire with friends taking mushrooms and, amidst some sort of schizophrenic break, he confessed to this shooting, to being responsible for [the terrorist attacks of] 9/11 and an assortment of other things," Turnbaugh's former attorney, Kurt Hughes, told The Huffington Post.

During police questioning, Turnbaugh denied killing Declan Lyons and said he considered him a "really good buddy."Friends also described Turnbaugh and Lyons as good friends, which made it difficult to establish a motive.

"All of us can't fathom why this would have happened," former co-worker Jen Moffroid told WPTZ in August 2002.

"Not a lot of bad vibes. Not a lot of animosity . . . You don't know what to believe and we're just trusting in the system and hoping that the police and courts can figure out what really happened here. We all would really like to know what really happened."

Hughes said the case was extraordinary, in that he had easy access to Lyons' coworkers and friends -- a rare convenience for a suspect's defense."They all loved Isaac as much as they loved the victim. It was unlike anything I had been involved in before," he said.

Following his arrest, Turnbaugh was diagnosed with a serious mental illness. The case did not go to court for roughly two years. When it did, Turnbaugh's lawyer argued that his client was ill and said that the FBI was unable to establish that a rifle belonging to his client was the murder weapon.

According to WCAX, prosecutors never denied that they did not have a motive for the crime, but were hoping that lies Turnbaugh had told police -- as well as his confession at the party -- would help them to prove premeditated murder.

On April 6, 2004, after five hours of deliberation, jurors found Turnbaugh not guilty of murder.

Sorrell said that he was surprised by the verdict. "We had these admissions from him, but he had a very good lawyer who was able to raise reasonable doubt that if you couldn't believe that he was involved with 9/11, then you couldn't believe that he was involved in this murder," the Vermont attorney general said. "The jury did its job. We gave it our best shot. Our justice system isn't always perfect, but it is darn good."

In the month after he was found innocent, Turnbaugh found himself in hot water with police following a 7-hour standoff in which he was involved. Other than that, he has kept a relatively low profile. That is, until he contacted police in Montpelier recently and allegedly confessed to killing Declan Lyons. There is, however, nothing police can do about it.

According to Anne Bremner, a Seattle attorney and legal analyst, the double jeopardy clause forbids authorities from trying Turnbaugh again for murder in this case.

"The framers of the Constitution wanted to preclude government harassment of citizens via successive and potentially harassing prosecutions," Bremner explained to The Huffington Post.

"Let's take Casey Anthony's case," Bremner continued. "Even if she confesses to Barbara Walters, Oprah, or Larry Flynt, for that matter, double jeopardy would preclude charging or prosecuting her again."

Once again, attorneys on both sides are in disagreement about the alleged confession. "He's mentally ill. He made similar so-called confessions before the trial, so it's nothing new. It's part of his illness [and] it sounds like he's having a relapse of some sort," Hughes said.

Sorrell, on the other hand, believes Turnbaugh's alleged confession."He gave some details this time that were consistent with evidence in the case," Sorrell said. "Clearly, the victim had a head wound, but the police were never able to find any bullet or bullet fragments enough to do any ballistics, so we did not have evidence of any particular caliber or any particular gun. We believed it was a high-powered rifle, and we knew that Isaac Turnbaugh owned a 30-30 rifle. So, this time, he did say he shot him in the head with the 30-30.”

There have been speculation and rumors that authorities could go after Turnbaugh on other potential charges such as perjury, but Sorrell said the defendant did not testify on his own behalf, so perjury is out of the question. Besides that, the statute of limitations is up and "that's not what we're looking to do here," he said.

A civil suit is also unlikely, the attorney general said."Quite frankly, I'm not sure that the victim's family would be looking for monetary reward," Sorrell said. "[Secondly], even if they got a verdict for a hundred million dollars, I'm not sure they would be in a position to collect a dime from Isaac Turnbaugh."

Police have not talked to Turnbaugh since his alleged confession. He did not respond to an interview request from The Huffington Post.

According to Sorrell, authorities still believe Turnbaugh is the killer, and do not plan to re-open the case."It's just a terrible tragedy," he said. "But, he has to live with what, in fact, he has done."

AND SO DOES THE VICTIM "LIVE" WITH BEING DEAD IN HIS GRAVE, AND HIS FAMILY WHO MOURN HIS LOSS FOREVER.

Today's post has to do with a woman who is 107 years old, she is the worlds oldest known Holocaust survivor, her name is Alice Herz-Sommer, and lives in a small apartment in North London, England.


Recently a friend off mine Suzanne, brought to my attention this very special woman, Alice. I write a lot of blog posts from the most morbid, victims rights, to politics, and human interest stories, the entire spectrum. Sometimes, I receive e-mails, suggestions from others about topics of interest.


I have to admit that with all the crazy shit going on in today's world I initially didn't read this information at first, because it seemed "unremarkable" to read anything about a 107 year old human being. Pretty sad, when I don't even pay attention to the mere fact that someone has even lived to the age of 107 years of age.


Thankfully, I did read the information a few days later and found myself not only captivated by Alice, her life, but I watched it over and over several times, as she affected me so deeply on an emotional level.


 As I said, Alice is a Holocaust survivor. You remember the Holocaust ?


Although the exact figure of those murdered will never be known, here are estimates:

• The figure of 11 million people dead is often given but it is completely unclear where this figure comes from, and how it is calculated. It is far too low. One also encounters the range 11-17 million.
• 6 million of these were Jewish (close to two thirds of Europe's Jewish population) and about one quarter of these were children under 15.
• Up to 270,000 were Roma/Sinti (Gypsies).

In addition, Hitler targeted homosexuals, Communists and other political dissidents, most Slavs, Jehovah's Witnesses, dissidents, some Protestant pastors and Catholic priests, black people, the mentally and physically disabled, and others. The figures include the camps as well as the mass graves in the countryside, killings in the street, organized mass shootings (such as Babi Yar, etc.) and basically, any person singled out for their race, religion, political beliefs, or their sexual orientation.
 
Basic facts of the Holocaust are that people murdered were:  

• Jews- 6.0 million
• Soviet POW's- 3.3 million
• Non-Jewish Poles- 1.8-2 million
• Romanis ('gypsies')- 220,000- 270,000 (but even the higher figure may be too low)
• Disabled- 200,000 - 250,000
• Homosexuals- 5,000 - 15,000
• Jehovahs Witnesses- 2,500 - 5,000

  The  accurate number of Holocaust survivors in the world remaining alive today are not known, possibly about 200,000, dwindling fast.


The train has already left the station. There’s nothing  much to say about the Holocaust that hasn't already been said. The best we can do is remember what happened, document it, tell future generations, and try to make sure it never happens again, in spite of revisionists such as the current President of Iran, who claims that the "Holocaust never happened and was made up by the Jews". 

If we say, ‘What a pity,’ will it help? No , it won't. This is a post about more than that.


The story of Alice Herz-Sommer is truly amazing not just about her survival, but more so about who she is today. Alice is inspirational,  musically talented beyond belief  at even her age, but much more important, as a beacon of the rare goodness that can still exist in a person during these insane days of this world. 

If only more people like Alice existed, our world would be a very special place to live in and be a part of, instead of the toxic cesspool it is today.


Where an angel like her comes from is hard to understand after all the suffering she has been through in her life.

DON'T STEAL.THE GOVERNMENT HATES COMPETITION

Congress lurches backwards as a gang of corrupt politicians, towards a potential deal to raise the Debt Ceiling, and avoid a default by the U.S. Treasury, but there are so many lies, distortions that are being fed to the American public, that I decided to pick one that is disgustingly offensive.

The big lie being fed to us by the government, and politicians of all parties, states that a large part of the current overall financial crisis where government spends more than it takes in as revenue, is supposedly mostly caused by our Entitlement Programs. 

You know, the ones like Social Security and Medicare that have been taken out of ever pay check we have ever earned, to fund the benefits for the costs of these programs.The story being told to us goes like this, Blame it on the "Baby Boomers".

"The government says that the Social Security Crisis is now worse than previously thought.  Each year, the Social Security Trustee’s Report updates us on the status of the Social Security Crisis.  The most recent trustee’s report indicated that it would be 2016 before Social Security began paying out more in benefits than it collects in payroll taxes. However, the most recent White House budget figures show that Social Security actually paid more in benefits than it collected in payroll taxes. 

This worsening of the Social Security Crisis, they say, is due to the current economic downturn. With unemployment so high, fewer people are working and paying into the Social Security System via payroll taxes.  At the same time, thousands of seniors who had previously been working lost their jobs and were forced to start collecting Social Security benefits.  

This resulted, they say, in a double hit for the Social Security System, because it meant fewer dollars coming into the system than expected, and more dollars going out than expected.

They say, these same White House budget projections foretell even more gloom and doom for the Social Security System. The projections show that in each of the next 10 years, Social Security will pay out more in benefits than it collects in payroll taxes. And unless something is done, they say, to address the Social Security Crisis, the situation will only get worse, because of the looming retirements by baby boomers." That's what the politicians say, want you to believe, and when they lie over and over, it becomes the big lie that everyone believes is true. 


Sorry but it is not true and is a set of devious distortions, outright lies, and diversions away from the real causes of the financial hole our country is in.

Don’t Blame America’s Debt Crisis on Social Security and Medicare. 


SOCIAL SECURITY NEEDS UNCLE SAM TO PAY UP HIS $2.5 TRILLION PLUS DOLLARS IN IOU'S IT OWES TO Social Security, NOW!

The truth is that the U.S. government has "borrowed " over 2.5 plus trillion dollars from our Social Security funds to use in totally unrelated ways such as for use by the Defense Dept., Pork Barrel bridges to nowhere for politicians, special interests, vast layers of bloated bureaucratic fiefdoms, foreign aid that lines the pockets of dictators, corporate America bail outs, subsidies, cheese museums, the Lawrence Welk museum, corrupt subcontractors, and many other wasteful pet projects.

During this process the government left "IOU"S" to guarantee they would pay back these "loans" of our social security monies, that were deducted from every paycheck we ever earned. 

Suddenly brain dead amnesia has struck the politicians and they proclaim that Social Security, Medicare, are going to be bankrupt because they say, "the government is spending beyond its revenue". 

Total, total, bull shit, and the American brainwashed even believe this crap. Social Security and Medicare systems have huge surpluses in reality, it is only because the government has defaulted on their IOU's to pay back these entitlement programs, that has now created this false crisis of the entitlement programs not being supposedly financially sustainable . 

It is bad enough that these crooks in Washington tax us twice on our Social Security, once as FICA when we have a paycheck, and then AGAIN when we collect Social Security benefits, it is taxed a second time, as taxable income.

The entire BIG LIE about these entitlement systems spending funds beyond its revenues, well that just is because the government for decades have created the situation by stealing our money. 

I doubt most of the American public even understands this, as they rail against the Obama health care reforms as Socialism, but in the same breath warned "don't touch my Medicare benefits because it is a great system", many not even aware that it is administered solely by their own government.

These distortions about our Entitlement  Programs being the big problem as the major cause of the national debt ignores the country’s outlandish military budget and a decade of unfunded wars, which have been piling up debt at a rate of about $150 billion a year.

The country has been piling up this debt for several decades, and especially over the last decade, but during all this time, Social Security and Medicare have been paying out their benefits from current dedicated payroll taxes and by drawing on the trust funds that had been built up because of the years that more was being collected than paid out in benefits.

Get the point? Nobody, in the Social Security and Medicare, hating members of Congress like Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), will acknowledge the fact that not one dime of the huge US deficit has been caused by a benefit check paid by Social Security, and the only parts of Medicare that are funded by general tax revenues are doctors bills and the prescription drug benefit, Medicare Part D, a handout that was given to private health insurers established by former President George W. Bush and the Republicans in Congress, which bars the government from negotiating discounts from the pharmaceutical companies, a problem easily fixed by improved legislation. It’s the wars, stupid!

Add cuts in the out sized $40+ billion annual secret intelligence budget, in the nation’s obsolete and dangerous nuclear weapons program, and other military-related expenditures, and we’re talking about saving half a trillion dollars a year! Cutting this waste will still allow us to be strongest military power in the world.

Obama and the Democratic party should be ashamed at carrying water for the likes of Ryan, Boehner, and McConnell.

 As this deal of averting the debt crisis and instituting cost cutting measures of huge amounts to programs that are needed by the American people, at least Obama and his cohorts could make an attempt to restore their weasel cowardly reputations, by standing up for the principles they say they represent.

PRESIDENT OBAMA AGREES TO "MODEST CUTS IN ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS"

That word modest means higher Medicare premiums, higher deductibles, increases in the "doughnut hole amounts", no power given to Medicare for negotiating  discount drug prices, and the beginning of the end for Medicare. In other words higher taxes we will pay for additional costs placed on our backs and not on the rich of America.


For Social Security it will mean a higher age before one can collect benefits, higher Social Security FICA payroll taxes, no more real cost of living increases (COLA) which will be replaced with a phony new method of adjusting the COLA formula to reflect a chained consumer price index that will actually reduce, and eventually eliminate annual cost of living increases for the American people who receive Social Security,

No where is it mentioned in this deal that corporate tax loops holes will be eliminated, or taxes increased on the very rich, removal of wasteful subsidies to private industry, or in fact anything related to sharing the pain of the cuts on our must vulnerable citizens, with those of our richest elite. 

Sure, pick on the elderly, ill, disabled, poor, little children, American families that need help, not punishment,

and continue to ignore those entities that escape the same pain because they have the money, power, influence to buy off our government.

What a great deal, the demands of the right wing are granted , their agenda's goals will  be to ultimately, totally destroy Social Security and Medicare, and Obama gets us what in return? Nothing but bull shit, feel good, meaningless words from him about "its what the American people asked from us, a compromise, and not exactly what I wanted, but it will help create jobs."

Excuse me President Obama and friends. You just in fact raised the taxes on all Americans by this sneaky terminology, but the rich and Businesses, remain untouched to continue raping America. 

You just also threw away decades of hard, back breaking work to gain, protect these entitlement rights for every working American, and have further set the stage for the destruction for the average American's ability to financially survive. We still don't even know whether our mortgage tax deductions will be removed in the proposed "tax reform" deal and that would cripple even many more Americans to become financially unsustainable, unable to pay our bills, have a roof over our heads, and yes, even to obediently pay our taxes, so that the government can spend it on helping bail out Wall Street, Banks, Auto companies.

At what point do the American people become too important to fail financially to our government, surely we deserve the same compassionate aid as that which was used to keep financial institutions, who made their own mess of our economy. Don't we the people also have the same importance or is that  a naive question, because it is clear that we are not in the loop of the privileged.

Thank you Obama and friends, you have betrayed us because you do know the truth and won't do shit to stand up for your stated beliefs. Instead you intellectually rationalize the need to compromise, remain delusional and see bi-partisan images of fantasy cooperation, that smell of the stink of cowardice. 

You sold us out and are worse than your GOP pals. Yes worse, because you were elected on a platform of trust in you to change things to a better life for the American people as you promised, " yes we can". 


NO, you can, and YOU won't. 

You sold us out and that will be your legacy as the President who was too weak, self absorbed in his political self, and gave away America to the right wing puppets of their masters, whose goals are to widen the gap in our country of the Haves and Have-Nots, with nothing in between, but cruelty, hate, ruthlessness, disrespect, inhuman behavior, and their obsessive, unfeeling, unlimited greed of evil.
